RUSH TRANSLATION

The timeframe within which a translation must be completed directly influences the quality of the translation. At the same we realize that a client must always receive a high quality translation, even if it has been a rush order.

We accept practically any rush orders

. Sometimes we receive translation orders to complete 100 pages in less than 24 hours, or 2000 pages in 2 weeks.

In order to guarantee the best quality of any translation orders, including rush orders, in our work we are utilizing the principles of project management.

Here is a short description of our typical working process with respect to a translation order:
  • Our manager takes your order and discusses all of its details and particulars with you.
  • A manager who is responsible for working with translators makes up a group of translators, editors and other staff who will be working on your order. This manager then controls the work progress so that the order is completed on time and with quality.
As part of the working group, the translator is the one who actually translates your order. The translators’ expertise and experience in the subject area of your text is a guarantee of a good translation. The translator must not only know the terminology, but understand what the text is about. There is one more important aspect of a translator’s work. It is well known that a translator cannot translate more than 10-15 pages per day, otherwise the quality of work immediately goes down. We take this factor into consideration when forming the working groups.
The editor is a specialist who is not only an excellent translator, but can also correct and edit the language and style of a document. He must not only understand what the text is about, but also have a general feeling with respect to its language and style. The editor’s responsibility is to control over the quality of the translation, making the necessary changes.
  • The manager and the editor oversee the creation of the draft translation.
  • Then the draft undergoes more elaborate “cleaning” process (checking for typos, technical corrections, editing, proofreading, and formatting) and is being sent to the client.

Each of the above described steps is being done in a well-defined timeframe, which allows us to guarantee that the translation is made on time and with quality.
